Superstar Hair Challenge: Seeing Double recap part 2
Since no one was eliminated, you can just sense the feeling that there’s about to be some obnoxious reality show twist, and there is. In walk four identical models sporting the old hair! The four stylists are floored and can’t believe what’s going on, but what’s actually the deal? The four women they’ve already worked on each have an identical twin. The challenge has now really come into play as the stylists have to find a new way to recreate the same hair, on virtually the same person, while keeping the women looking totally different.
I have to admit I think this was a pretty cool twist, especially by cheesy reality show standards. Now the stylists have to dig deep into their creative brains and try to come up with hairstlyes that are equally fitting, but totally different.
Everyone works dilligently, and Manu ends up taking his second client’s hair much shorter. I think the worst were Ceilidh’s clients because she didn’t do much in terms of color. Same with Fabio, who, in front of the judges described one client as a “rock star,” and blatantly called the other plain. Probably not what most clients want to hear from their stylists. The judges deliberate and decide that Ceilidh should go home.
I’m surprised she’s made it this far. While she seems enthusiastic, it isn’t enough to compete with people like Anthony who have over 20 years of experience.
It’s down to Manu, Fabio and Anthony, with a winner being declared next time!
